Finding peace in the home.

Today I am attempting to create more peace and sanity in my environment.  There are so many things that need doing, putting away and clutter cleared.  Insanity seems prevalent in my head and home right now.

I am frustrated by my inability to be able to re-arrange.  It just isn’t possible anymore.  Since we joined households, everything has it’s place and just won’t work anywhere else.  I can’t tell you how much this frustrates me, the ultimate re-arranger.  My need for change in my home environment is like my need for breath.  I am going mad!

So, all I can do is re-organise cupboards, clutter clear, make things function better.  All important things as well, just not the same as have a freshly arranged lounge room.

[some dreaming moments later…]

Oh dear, it’s just not gonna cut it.  I have to re-arrange the lounge.  I have to do something.  I’m going mad!!  aahhhhhhhhhhhaaaahhhhhh!  :)

My 52 projects this weekend will be all about this.  Big household projects.  Before and after photos.  The study is my current project and I hope I am about halfway through.

Then, the lounge.  I will find a way.  I will find a way!

And this weekend, we are attacking a pile of stuff in the backyard.  Finally!

Ok, back to it…

Oh we could never live together. Once I put something in it's place it's there forever! lol

I got my mother's rearranging gene but I have to admit she is much more the rearranger than I am - but I like how it make everything feel NEW again -- have fun!

LOL Bev! My mum is the same. Her house hasn't changed at all!

Yes that's a perfect way to describe it, Rochelle! Everything is NEW again.

I didn't get to the lounge Donna. But I have before and afters of the study clutter clear and tidy.
